What issue do you have?
I installed a joplin server on my synolgy 923+ system with docker.
My docker-compose.yml file ist:
version: '3'
services:
db:
image: postgres:17
volumes:
- /volume2/docker_nvme/joplin/db:/var/lib/postgresql/data
restart: unless-stopped
environment: - POSTGRES_PASSWORD=7uuVUHwgm4Wo59JJJHM
- POSTGRES_USER=joplin
- POSTGRES_DB=joplindb
app:
image: joplin/server:latest
depends_on: - db
ports: - "22300:22300"
restart: unless-stopped
environment: - APP_PORT=22300
- APP_BASE_URL=https://joplin.seyb.synology.me
- DB_CLIENTB=pg
- POSTGRES_PASSWORD=Secret Password
- POSTGRES_USER=joplin
- POSTGRES_DB=joplindb
- POSTGRES_PORT=5432
- POSTGRES_HOST=db
I successfully created the docker project with the Synology Container Manager and it is actually working. I am able to login to the server with https://joplin.seyb.synology.me and created after logging in with admin@localhost, 2 additional Users and successfully connected several Joplin clients to the server. The syncing works as well.
The problem I have is, that I do not see any changes in the db directory of the Postgresql server and the db docker protokoll also does not show any changes.
Apparently, the joplin server does not use the Postresql database - but what is it using instead?
What is wrong in my docker-compose.yml file?
Any help is appreciated ...
Best regards Christian
