To echo the original post, is there a more official doc for Joplin Server than the README doc joplin/packages/server/README.md at dev · laurent22/joplin · GitHub, which is mainly about the installation process? If I need to look for what features Joplin have or more info about Joplin app, I can find info at Using Joplin | Joplin . But if I want to know more about Joplin Server, I have trouble finding a location for doc.
Specific problems I have:
- I'm vaguely aware that Joplin Server allows sharing notes, but the best doc I can find is Joplin Server sharing feature | Joplin, which is a spec for developers. I'd like to know more about the feature as a user or Joplin Server admin.
- The notebook sharing feature is shared/documented via Discourse Share notebooks and collaborate on them using Joplin Server 2.0 instead of the official doc location What is Joplin? | Joplin above.
- Synchronisation | Joplin mentions different synchronisation tech, but it doesn't mention Joplin Server (Joplin Cloud is mentioned). Why is Joplin Server (as a self-hosting solution) missing? Since Joplin Server is the tech which most Joplin dev/volunteers would have more experience with, should it be the preferred self-hosting solution over S3/NextCloud/OneDrive etc. (also mentioned on the page)?
