Direct export note in Epub format without any nasty conversion

I would like to suggest the possibilty to direct export a note in epub format (avoiding any conversion passage through html).

This request is intended to preserve the original style that often is stripped out by conversion passage.

This could be achieved by a pandoc plugin (as suggested here for example). Pandoc converts internally to it's own AST though, so its not a direct conversion in a strict sense, but it seems to be well supported:
