It came back again. This is what I had to do to fix it: sudo rm /usr/local/bin/xdg-settings hash -r # Clear shell cache which xdg-settings # Now shows /usr/bin/xdg-settings flatpak override --user --filesystem=/usr/bin net.cozic.joplin_desktop
