Since I swapped from using the Portable version within Dropbox, I have been installing Joplin on my various machines. I am one of those folks who tends to pin the app to the Windows 10 taskbar. This let's me Win+# it to launch it easily.
I do not use the pre-release releases. But every time I install the new version on top (upgrade) of my existing installation, the pinned taskbar shortcut gets removed. I then have to go back into the Start Menu, re-pin the icon, drag it to the #'d space I want it in, and I'm good to go.
I know this isn't necessarily an issue with Joplin itself, and perhaps is just a flag of the installer, but is there by chance a way to change out the upgrade/installation behaviour to NOT do this?
And my apologies, I wasn't sure if this should be considered a bug (again as it's not necessarily the app, but most likely the installer) or a conventional support topic. If this needs to be moved around, I'm fine with it. Just kinda curious if there may be a way to address this.
Thanks!
