# Where do I find Web Clipper options in the Joplin desktop app

### What issue do you have?
I've just started using Joplin, and I want to use the Web Clipper. The instructions in the Help say: "To start using it, open the Joplin desktop application, go to the Web Clipper Options and follow the instructions".
I'm looking at the Joplin desktop application on my Windows laptop, and I can't find any Web Clipper Options. Where are they? I have the following pull-down menus at the top left of the window: File, Edit, View, Go, Notebook, Note, Tools, Help. None of these contain any Web Clipper Options. The menus at the top of the right-hand column all relate to editing the current note. So where do I find Web Clipper Options? Sorry, I expect the answer is obvious, but I'm currently stuck. Thanks.

Go to Tools → Options, then you should see Web Clipper on the left bar.
