Where are the tags gone?

I realized that with some new version the visibility of the tags is gone!

I am at

Joplin 1.0.216 (prod, win32)

Client ID: 096...
Sync Version: 1
Profile Version: 29

Revision: 4eb680d6 (master)

Before I could see the tags right at note level, now I only see the button to show them:

What should I configure to have the tags back? (visually, when editing a note)

They should be to the right of the Tag button, for me it works.

Works for me as well. Never had a tag disappear if the note has a tag.

Works fine for me also. What i would like to see is the option to click on that tag to see every other note with the same tag.

Ah ah ah - interesting, it appeared only after I moved away from the note and then back on it.
This is an automatically generated tag (part of the processing I am working on to turn a #hashtag in the text into an actual tag) and while the tag was added (I saw it when clicking on the tag icon) it was not visible.

Which means that the tags are refreshed when a note is parsed on opening, something I must be aware of. I was under the impression that if I have a note opened, it is refreshed periodically - which means that if I change a note in one place and I am synchronized to, say, Nextcloud - then the change will be reflected in the first note.

If this indeed the case, it may be worthwhile to also redraw (update in the app) the metadata (such as displayed tags)

Suggestion - Tag label - Click to display notes sharing that tag Features

The below was mentioned in this post and it was suggested that it was created as a discussion topic in the forum. I am not a programmer and so I do not know how difficult it would be, but the suggestion is to add a function to the currently inert tag label at the top of a note so that when clicked Joplin lists all notes sharing that tag, retaining focus on the note being viewed.
