# When will the next stable version be released？

Many thanks for your reply. I got the point of the Joplin release cycle. I want to learn more about this; for example, focusing on the current V3.7.18, there are some issues with the LLM local provider. I also saw some feedback on GitHub, and it looks like the related issues have been fixed. What is the next version with the fixed issue, and when can I get it?

The answer is it depends. If the PR targets the dev branch, then it wont be until then next major release. If it targets a release branch e.g. release-3.7, then a hotfix will be released, usually soon after
