Is there any chance that this change will ever allow the changing of the height for note list items? I realize it may be totally unrelated, but customizing this has been a long sought after feature. For example using something like

We have a compatibility layer to (partially) support plugins written for CodeMirror 5 plugins. However, there are large parts of the CodeMirror 5 API that it doesn't support.

Issues with plugin support in the beta editor are being tracked on GitHub.

Would this permit the note listing to have thumbnails such as Nevernote? Take Note Overview and apply it to the listing rather than as a note on its own?

It allows creating "left to right" note lists with items of arbitrary sizes, so square for example. And then you can add images or text so you can create thumbnails and previews of the note content.

I'm not sure what you mean about Note Overview, is that an Evernote feature?

On the 'downloads' page, the link Android apk that one can get directly outside the Google market still points to the old (2.12...)
After some despair I found that in fact it's only that url in the download page that wasn't updated.
I copied it, edited the text to replace the version 2.12... with 2.13... and loaded the resulting url, and the right apk did download.
So : solved for me, but @laurent you may wish to update the webpage

Do you have an example of what you mean by calculation functions in tables? That sounds a bit like Excel, which would be out of scope, unless you mean something else

JSheets was working last time I used it. Maybe you are referring to a different plugin?

What's next?

We'll probably integrate one or two of these renderers by default at some point, but in the meantime it's possible to customise the note list in many different way using this plugin API.

Next, I'd like to support customisable headers so that we can create sortable lists like this:

Do you know of any application that support this kind of limited table calculation features? I wonder if there's a standard or something for it. I don't assume TinyMCE supports this by default?

No, actually I don't know of any application that does this. In OneNote you can create a "calculation table" but that then opens with MS Excel. "Normal" tables in OneNote do not support any calculations.
Simple calculations can be done using 10+20= inserts the result. But thats not what I search.
As I said, I tried the "JSheets" and that works for me on the Desktop, it does not work however i.e. in the Android app.
I'm not familiar with TinyMCE, but checking the website, I don't think its possible with TinyMCE.
