What is the "master_key_id" column?

Hi,
I was looking at the Joplin database, and I noticed that there is a column called "master_key_id" in various tables.

On the NOTES table there is one, and also on the FOLDERS and RESOURCES tables.

I am just curious to know. To what does this column refer to?

It seems that it might be related to the MASTER_KEYS table.

@elriba welcome to the forum.

I assume that it is associating notes, folders and resources with their relevant key ID when end to end encryption is activated. (Tools > Options > Encryption)
