I copy-pasted text with several lines:

Line text 1
Line text 2
Line text 3
…

How I can select it all and mass cite like?

```
> Line text 1
>
> Line text 2
>
> Line text 3
```

or

```
> Line text 1
> Line text 2
> Line text 3
```

I don’t know if there’s a shortcut, but I do know that you can press&hold the “alt” key, then click and drag your mouse, to enable multi-line-editing.

With this, expand your cursor to several lines at once, and edit them all at once.

Thank you man. I knows

1. In my OS multiedit enables by ctrl+alt
2. It’s a little expensive procedure that reduces productivity and user experience (game who hits the dart + unexpected behavior)

Why do you want to insert a "\>" at the beginning of each line ? Just insert one "\>" at the beginning of the first line and you are done:

> Line text 1
> Line text 2
> Line text 3

End of mass citing.

Not sure if it fits your use case but you can also add code formatting using three backticks before and after your text.

```auto
lots of stuff here
```

This formating is for code. Problem with it

- unwrapping of the text
- highlighting of the words

Similar do “Tab” before text or 4 space symbols
