Web Clipper visibility

The functionality for me of the web clipper is very good (Chrome on Windows, also works with Opera in Windows). However, I do find the visibility of the area being screen clipped a challenge on some sites, particularly if working fullscreen - the highlighted area is non-existent. It still works but you have to guess the area based on where you are clicking your mouse. Any chance this could be improved? Either with a brighter overlay or bounding box?

It is extra tricky when the web clipper is used on 'darkmoded' pages or in combination with extensions like dark reader.
Should be an easy fix to just make it invert the pages background color or something...

Is it the (Chrome) extension that needs editing? Where is the repository for this?
