What issue do you have?

Since upgrading to version 3.7.16, the vertical height of the tag display area below the main content has increased, causing the main content display area to shrink.
The issue persists even when plugins are disabled or when opening a new window, so I believe the problem lies with Joplin itself.
My userstyle.css is attached; I tried changing the font size, but the result was the same.
Is there any way to reduce the vertical height of the tag display area?

This issue was resolved by switching the language setting to English.
It appears there is a problem with the size or positioning of the tag display area when using Japanese. I hope this is fixed promptly.
I found it strange that this issue wasn't detected during development or reported on the forum after release, which led me to suspect that it might not be affecting English-speaking users.

Hi @laurent, thanks for your help.

I’ve checked the cases where this occurred in Chinese and Spanish in previous versions, and I believe it’s the same issue.

For now, I’ve added the following to userchrome.css as a workaround. Thanks for the information.
.editor-status-indicator {
height: 0 !important;
}

Hi @laurent,

I’ve confirmed that the issue has been resolved in the Joplin 3.7.18 release.
Thank you for the quick fix.
