# Tag search function does not support Chinese

HI

Tag search function does not support Chinese  
E.g:  
tag:test (searchable √)  
teg:中文 (not searchable X)

This bug, I hope the next version can be resolved, thank you.  
I like Joplin very much.

Hi @tukela,

There is a bug with the current release v1.2.6 which makes this not work. The next version (v1.3.X) [includes a fix](https://github.com/laurent22/joplin/pull/3947). I don't know when the next version will be released, so if you need it now, just grab [a pre-release from github](https://github.com/laurent22/joplin/releases/tag/v1.3.10)

Which version do you use? because in the last pre-release something was done for special characters.

Version: 1.2.6  
PC and ios, tag Chinese cannot be searched.

It is broken in v1.2.6  
Fixed in v1.3.11
