# Sychronization Logic

I’m not sure where to categorize this right now, but what is the current logic (in desktop and mobile) of synchronization? I know the most obvious is to press the synchronization button, but what about having Joplin run in systray and on your phone?
I guess the reason I’m asking is because I’ve been noticing conflicts and I’ve lost a note or two. I’m hoping to maybe suggest some improvements.

Does the desktop version of Joplin synchronize automatically when exited but running in the system tray?
