I use Joplin to take notes on multiple projects.

I use tags a lot, to gather notes into meaningful groups.

The NOTEBOOKS and TAGS left menu items are collapsible - open or closed.

I'd love to make collapsible tag **groups** - showing only the tags related to the project I'm working on, hiding the others under tag group names.

Deirdre

Heirachical tags have been on the backlog for quite a while at this point, see: [What features did you like in 2023 and what do you want to see in 2024? - #3 by Daeraxa](https://discourse.joplinapp.org/t/what-features-did-you-like-in-2023-and-what-do-you-want-to-see-in-2024/34792/3)
