Joplin version: 2.5.12.
Web clipper version: 2.1.3 (auto updates on and fairly sure this was after 10 Dec so should this or previous version for Firefox).
This is not a syncing issue, but I am syncing with a local filesystem target (pCloudDrive).
Platform: Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon (Linux 5.4.0-91-generic #102-Ubuntu SMP Fri Nov 5 16:31:28 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux). Using X11, not Wayland.
The instructions don't seem to suggest there's a log for the web clipper.
Description of problem:
Sometimes, randomly, the choice box for selecting the notebook when using the web clipper in Firefox presents the choice box on the wrong monitor on a multi-monitor setup. The system was under very high load at the time and there was a lot of lag, so I wonder if this was potentially a race condition - things were running quite slowly.
This might also be an X11 related issue that has nothing to do with Joplin, as I have heard about this happening with context menus on X11, but I am not sure. Cinnamon doesn't run with Wayland, so I can't test that scenario again.
The high load may not be related - I was clipping loads of pages while migrating away from Pocket as it is not OSS, so it might just be down to random chance - it happened maybe 4 times while I clipped maybe 100 pages.
I appreciate this is probably hard to diagnose, but I will help in any way I can.
