Try creating sortable search lists or tables which automatically update with the [Note Overview plugin](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/io.github.jackgruber.note-overview/).

If that doesn't meet your needs, check out the alternatives linked below:

> Hi @booksherpa, welcome to the forum. Recent searches and sorting results Since you're using inline tags, check out the [Inline Tag Navigator plugin](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/joplin.plugin.alondmnt.tag-navigator/). Related plugins like the [Note Overview plugin](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/io.github.jackgruber.note-overview/), the [Favorites plugin](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/joplin.plugin.benji.favorites/), and the [Embed Search plugin](https://joplinapp.org/plugins/plugin/joplin.plugin.ambrt.embedSearch/) should also meet some, if not all of your search needs. Said features, workarounds, and other tips have also been discussed in the [Search integration on Joplin thread](https://discourse.joplinapp.org/t/search-functionality-in-joplin/35787/) if you're interested.
