Rich text - Android

After several big let downs from Evernote I'm giving Joplin a go. I'm using the Android version but can't figure out how to get the rich text editor on though. Any suggestions?

There isn't currently a rich text editor on mobile but the newest version has a markdown toolbar to help make editing easier.

You need 2.9 and to enable the beta editor in your settings:

Thanks again! The app I can see is 2.8.1- where can I get 2.9 from? I've tried PlayStore and the apk from the Joplin website.
