When using secondary instance of Joplin I find myself often moving Notebooks between profiles via export/import. Recently I noticed that one of the profiles is set to download resources on Auto (i.e. on note opening). I realized that all previously exported notebooks (as well as local Backups) miss the resources for notes I created from mobile (I never opened them from desktop).
Now, it seems that to be able to export/import notebooks (without losing some undownloaded resources) between profiles I must download all resources on every profile.
I have about 7k resources on all of the profiles so downloading them all locally isn't ideal.
Feature proposed
To ensure a complete notebook export, I would like to be able to download all resources for selected notebook without having to open every note in it.
Closest minimal alternative: I would like to receive a warning when I'm attempting to export a notebook/profile where not all resources are downloaded
Hmm, that's not good to be honest. It's a real risk if someone needs to wipe put their sync target and start over to fix sync issues, as they could lose attachments by that method. As a minimum I think the export options should display some kind of warning if not all attachments are downloaded, either generically before export, or after more specifically if the exported data set is actually affected
