What issue do you have?
Unable to sync and then unable to update. I have resolved this issue and am including this in case you haven't heard about this and for other users running into the same issue.
I've been on Joplin 3.6.15. Recently I have been unable to sync because of a message stating I must be on version 3.7.0+. I didn't investigate further but decided to just update the app. All normal channels to update failed to work for me. I am running Joplin on MX Linux and several Android tablets and my Graphene OS phone. I use Aurora store to update Joplin on my Android devices and the install script Joplin_install_and_update.sh for my desktop.
I expect my inability to update is occurring because all 3.7 versions of Joplin are marked as pre-release. Thus Aurora store and the bash script will not update by default. I have resolved this issue with the following:
* For Android I downloaded the APK from Joplin APK for Android Download and installed that.
* For Linux, I copied the code from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/laurent22/joplin/dev/Joplin_install_and_update.sh and created a shell script to run. I passed in the argument --prerelease. The is likely a better way but this is easy enough.
Everything is working fine for me now. I am currently running v3.7.12.
