What issue do you have?

Hello,
For some time now, I've been having an issue with the Outline module: when I click on paragraph headings, the link doesn't work.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the module, but it didn't help.
Could you help me or offer some suggestions? This feature is really handy when you have longer notes.

Thank you in advance

I have the same problem.

The Outline (TOC) module works only with Markdown editor, not in rich text editor (clic on a link doesn't work).

A fix would be awesome!

Its this bug: Outline is not working in Rich Text Editor view from Joplin v3.5.11 onwards · Issue #114 · cqroot/joplin-outline · GitHub

I had submitted a PR with a fix for this here, but seems like this plugin may no longer be maintained: Fix: scroll to heading (and scroll to top) in rich text editor, Fixes #114 by bwat47 · Pull Request #115 · cqroot/joplin-outline · GitHub

I created a .jpl artifact with the fix from my PR here: Release rich text editor scroll fix · bwat47/joplin-outline · GitHub

  • Note: this is provided as-is (I no longer use this plugin or the rich text editor and don't plan on maintaining a fork of this plugin).

As another alternative, you can use the DDDot plugin's outline which works in the rich text editor: Joplin Plugins - Joplin DDDot
