# Pressng enter make a double line

Hello  
New to Joplin.  
I didn't find solution, or all new request are closed qwith any response.  
Is it possible to change the behavior of the Enter Key, to only Return, and do make a blank line.  
Joplin is a tool for notes, not a text editor like Word !

I assume that this applies to the markdown editor only, right ?  
Because in the Rich editor and shift-return\> work exactly as expected.

I dont know wich editor it is. I use it as I donwloaded it.  
And I dont want to do shift + enter each time, it's sucks
