Is the legacy Markdown editor enabled (in settings \> general \> advanced)? If so, does disabling it help?

I forgot to mention that from version v1.5.0 this plugin will stop support CodeMirror5 to make thing easier forward, so if you're using legacy editor please don't update this plugin.
