"No Master key defined" on Android app

When I try to synchronize, I get this warning that no encryption key is set.

On the key selection screen, I can save the key, but no tapping anywhere seems to set the checkmark GREEN. Only the back button allows me to leave this screen. I am looking to get the checkmark into a GREEN state, is that correct?

How do I define an active master key on Android? I can't access my data remotely anymore. The key 5d64a5 has been saved but not "activated". There doesn't appear to be any way to activate that key; the check-mark is not green. Thanks.
