# Monospace styling in 2.2.7

Once I posted the question, the robot suggested some answers including [Restore Default CodeMirror Theme](https://discourse.joplinapp.org/t/joplin-customization/11195#restore-default-codemirror-theme) which lists the necessary CSS changes including:

```css
div.CodeMirror.cm-s-default span.cm-string {color: #a11;}

```

Which from the color, appears to be the style in question.
