# Modern UI for Desktop app

As an app the functionality of joplin is very good but I believe that if something it lacks then it is a Modern UI  
that gives an awesome feel to the user while using the app

I have expertise in Front-end in Next.js, I would prefer to the revamp the UI of joplin to a modern view.  
And this topic is to bring all the people who feel similar and want to work on it. And togethar we can give a very nice to the Joplin App,

Comment down references of native apps having UIs, that you like, for eg - Postman, Docker, MongoDB Compass etc

Maybe start with the Setting section. That area feels pretty rough and could be a quick win? The toolbar def needs updating, but could be a bigger task?
