Issue or feature thread needed for minor contributions to documentation?

I want to add some information to Dropbox synchronisation | Joplin as there is no mention of setting a sync target on this page. There is such info for synchronization with other services. This is a very minor QoL contribution, but it makes no sense to me that this information is listed on the synchronisation guide for Nextcloud for example but not Dropbox.

I am pretty new to making contributions overall and would just want some advice on etiquette as it felt overkill to create a new Issue for such a small contribution. Would forking, making the minor change and proposing it be good enough for something like this or should I go through the process of setting up an issue, or even making a forum post suggesting a feature?

I have read the contributions guide but there is no information specifically about extending the documentation, and I am a bit new at this so I decided it would be best to ask.

No need to overcomplicate simple stuff like documentation improvement. If you were planning to add major feature, which possibly could break something, then going through the process of setting up an issue or making forum post would be appropriate.
