What issue do you have?

Is there a built-in way or a plugin that will let me reuse an image rather than dropping the same image into multiple notes from disk? I searched the forum, but didn't really see an answer. I see the same image with different ids in the resources directory. Wouldn't it be more efficient to browse to an image to reuse the link?

You can use tools | note attachments, but it's UI is quite bare bones

Ah, yeah, that is bare bones. thanks

What's wrong with simply copy pasting the image markdown code (similar to ![37b.png](:/f35)) from one existing instance of the image in one note to other notes? I believe the image will be reused without duplication.

There are times I don’t have that link or can’t find it easily (I have lots of notes). That’s why I want to browse the resources folder to pick from the list. I can get the image name to create an tag by scrolling through the resources folder, but that means I have to work outside Joplin. Again, this is just an inconvenience. Heck, I’d like to organize the images by folder to make browsing easier.
