I have been using Joplin for a few months. It has been a great alternative to Evernote on my iPhone and iPad. My only pain point is that it can be cumbersome to move content from an iOS app to Joplin. In Evernote, one selects export in the source app (eg Notability) and click Send To Evernote in the resulting pop-up and Bob’s your uncle. No such option appears to exist for Joplin. My work around is to email the file to Joplin cloud, but this is an extra step and it requires one to use the Joplin cloud service.
