Hi,

I am Biswarup Banerjee (21 y/o) from LPU (https://www.lpu.in/) pursuing Computer Science Engineering.

Previously I have interned at VC funded tech startups like https://pratilipi.com/ (one of India’s largest vernacular story publishing platforms) and upGrad.com (Linkedin’s top 20 startups 2018-2019).

I have successfully launched multiple websites which are used by hundreds of people daily like https://ferrybooking.in/activity/ and https://shortto.com/

This summer I am very much motivated to work on open source projects like Joplin.
The feature of Hierarchical Tags is something that I find to be a really interesting thing to build. For now, I have started diving deeper into the existing code base and have also reported a few bugs.

Very eager to learn and contribute to the entire Open source ecosystem!

Even though there is just over a week left until applications are due for GSoC, please don’t rush if it means your output isn’t up to snuff. Do your work quickly but properly too where able. Thanks. :wink:
