**Tools** \> **Options** \> **Markdown** \> **Enable Linkify (wysiwyg: yes)**

The "Linkify" option displays plain URLs in notes as links. Otherwise the URLs have to be _specified_ using Markdown - `[Link](https://example.com)` or `<https://example.com>`.
