I’m new to Joplin - importing ~3500 notes from Evernote and very impressed. One of the things I miss though is a way to quickly get to frequently used notes. Is there anyway in Joplin to mark a note or a notebook as a favourite and have a shortcut to get to it?

Well, you can tag favs with ⭐, ❤ or whatever else you fancy.

You can also create a tag for these notes. Or you can sort both notebooks and notes by last modified to see the latest changes.

I agree! To mark notes as favourites and find them under Shortcuts in the meny would be a great improvement.

Another possibility is to use the plug-in [Note Tabs](https://discourse.joplinapp.org/t/plugin-note-tabs/12752)

It allows opening notes in tabs; the tabs can be pinned, if you want to keep tabs for favourite notes etc., after notes are closed

And yet another good plugin capable of keeping track of both favourites and recent notes: [DDDot](https://github.com/benlau/joplin-plugin-dddot)
