Half hour of life gone figuring out how to open a .pdf

I attached a .pdf to a note. Then I couldn't figure out how to open it. I had to spend 30 minutes with ChatGPT.

What am I missing? I wanted to click on the pdf to open it. But not.

Have you tried right-clicking the file, and then using "Open"? This is assuming you're talking about the desktop version of Joplin, not the mobile app.

Sorry, forgot to include: Joplin desktop, iMac.

Yes that worked. It just never occurred to me I had to do that, as I'm so used to left-click to open. I can tap to open on my Android (GrapheneOS), however.

Cmd+Click should work too depending on the editor
