Hello! Big fan of Joplin and Joplin Server.

I am beginning to use Joplin Server like I used to use Notion's — one of my favorite features is writing a document in markdown, then sharing it with someone via the HTTPS link. I would love the ability to change the Joplin logo to whatever I want, or style the page a bit, so it's easier for folks to see that it's from me, and not Joplin.

The footer is great the way it is. I'd just love some custom CSS.

Thanks!

That would be a major win for my use case. I need to put the company logo at the top.

Also curious about this? I suppose one way would be to find the path of that image and change it.

I would guess that this probably has not been done due to comments like,

People could start company branding the server and Joplin Server is not FOSS. It is software that is [licenced](https://github.com/laurent22/joplin/blob/dev/packages/server/LICENSE.md) for personal, **non-commercial** use only.

I believe that the paid for Joplin Cloud service lets users change the branding.

**EDIT:**
The Pro and Teams [subscriptions](https://joplinapp.org/plans/) let the user change the publishing banner as well as the [self-hosted business](https://joplinapp.org/plans/?hosting=self) plan.

I have my own personal logo that I use on my blog, email footer, etc. I'm also part of groups/communities that have their own logos. All use-cases are are personal, non-commercial use.

Also, since we have the ability to switch profiles, it's beneficial to be able to tell which profile I'm using by having the proper branding and customization.

Please do not think I was suggesting that you were intending to use the software commercially. I was just suggesting that Joplin may not be making this available as allowing such re-branding on publicly published notes may not be in Joplin's interest as it could somewhat undermine their self-hosted (paid) business product.

I wouldn't mind paying for branding/whitelabeling. Many others do it successfully e.g. invoiceninja. Very reasonable yearly fee and it's a win-win for both parties. I don't see why Joplin can't do the same if money is the issue.

We do have an option to purchase a Joplin Server Business license, which would include the banner customisation feature:

> **[Joplin Cloud Plans | Joplin](https://joplinapp.org/plans/?hosting=self)**

would this require a different package than the existing one on Cloudron or can I input a license code somewhere and it'll activate?

You will be provided with a Docker image, with instructions on how to activate the license

That's above my pay grade. It's part of why I use Cloudron for self-hosting. Thanks.
