Hello!
My apologies for the late response. I wrote my post from iOS and noticed that most of it did not come through. My request was about the possibility of adding a simpler highlight function, preferably similar to what iBooks and Highlights on iOS offer.
Joplin is absolutely brilliant for progressive summarization of texts and would be perfect with a highlight function that allows the reader to just swipe over the text directly with the finger or cursor without having to click the highlight function each time, or a quick command in the menu that makes it easy to underline text.
