Joplin’s To-Do feature is very useful for managing tasks, but currently there doesn’t seem to be an option to set a reminder or notification for a specific task.
For example, suppose I need to go to the market at 10:00 AM. I can create a To-Do item such as “Go to the market”, but I cannot set it to remind me at 10:00 AM.
It would be very useful if each To-Do item could have an optional date and time-based reminder. When the specified time arrives, Joplin could send a notification to remind the user about the task.
Example
Task: Go to the market
Reminder: 10:00 AM
Notification: “Reminder: Go to the market”
Ideally, users should be able to set, edit, or remove a reminder directly from the To-Do item.
This feature would make Joplin’s To-Do functionality much more practical for time-sensitive tasks and would bring it closer to the functionality offered by many modern To-Do and task-management applications.
