What issue do you have?
I used to use Evernote as my note-app. Because Evernote (free) was limited more and more I decided to move to a different platform and at that time I decided to move to OneNote. That worked fine.
I did edit some of the imported Evernote notes, but created new notes in a new, different OneNote notebook (let's call this notebook 'NewOneNote' for reference).
However because OneNote isn't all that stable I decided to 'move to' Joplin.
I therefore exported both OneNote notebooks (the former Evernote notebook and the new one I created for new notes (the 'NewOneNote' notebook) in *.onepkg format and imported those to Joplin/Windows.
The import function didn't 'complain' about anything, so I assumed all was good.
But when I yesterday looked at a note (a former Evernote note (now in Joplin)) I thought it didn't really looked up to date - some more recent updates in the notes which I expected was missing.
Since I still have access to both my Evernote and my Onenote I compared how the note looked when I still used Evernote actively and how it looked in Onenote (both the 'active' Onenote notebook and also the exported notebook (=the onepkg file I used to import them to Joplin)).
I here saw :
... in Onenote: The 'version' of the note I see in Joplin after the import is identical to the oldest version of the note (Onenote > History > Page version). So all modifications I made in that note after importing the Evernote notese to OneNote was lost when imported to Joplin.
... in Evernote: This version is identical to the version I saw in the imported Joplin note - which (kind of) makes sense, since the oldest version of the note in Onenote is identical to how the note looked when I imported it from Evernote to Onenote.
This is not an isolated issue - I found some other notes which originally came from Evernote and then were imported to OneNote - and here the result was the same: The 'version' of the note after import to Joplin was again the oldest Onenote-version af the note.
I don't have the same problem with the notes I created in the above mentioned 'NewOneNote' Onenote notebook: Here the most recent version of the notes were imported to Joplin.
Please note: Since there isn't an official tool to convert Evernote to OneNote I used the following tool : Releases · stefankueng/EvImSync · GitHub
So there might be some 'thingy' set in the (originally) Evernote-notes after I imported them to OneNote that 'confused' the Joplin import function.
Unfortunately I can't provide you with a sample (since I of course don't want to share my (originally) Evernote notes). But if this could 'trigger' some thought ("Oh, I think that could happen because of ") or just as in information if you hear of a similar problem I wanted to share this with out.
I found a circumvention for the problem - so for me personally this problem is solved: In the Onenote notebook with the (originally) Evernote notes I cleared the history of all notes in that notebook (Onenote > History > Page version > Delete all versions in notebook), then exported it to a new *.onepkg file and re-imported it to Joplin. Since now only the most recent version of the notes existed the notes imported to Joplin now (naturally) are the most recent version of the notes.
This might help if somebody else has used the same migration path as I did.
