Hey guys, thanks for the plugin. I've been playing around with it and while it works mostly fine, there is one thing that bugs me: When using the eraser, I want to be able to remove only parts of the lines I've drawn and not the entire line object. This is the standard behavior in other apps such as Xournal++ or RNote. Hope that this is not too big of an issue to implement.

Another thing that I noticed: When I'm drawing and then open settings, all unsaved changes are lost. This is unfortunate since I've lost quite some work. I'd suggest either raising a warning with a promt to save (or discard changes), or some autosave feature.

I'm using @CalebJohn's amazing Rich Markdown Plugin. Here, a preview is shown (which is nice), but I don't know how to edit the file. I currently switch to the regular view, then an edit button appears. However, the preview is not updated when changes are saved.

Select the ID for the drawing, then click the "draw" button.

Hi, is it possible to assign the eraser to a pen button? I know it's possible with other tools such as Rnote but somehow I cannot get it to work with Joplin.

At present, the stylus eraser button should be auto-assigned, but only on some devices and versions of Joplin. In particular,

On Android, it should work with Joplin >= 3.0.4 (pre-release), but, because the image editor runs in a Chromium-based WebView, it might be broken on Samsung hardware. Also see this GitHub issue.
On iOS: Untested, should work with Joplin >= 13.0.2 (pre-release).

If this is with the "Freehand Drawing" plugin, a bug report here with an input log attached could be very helpful.

Hello, I saw, that Xournall++ or Goodnotes have geometry tools like ruler or set square. I search it in Joplin but I haven't see it.

Have I overlooked it? When not, it's possible to create such a tool?
