# Desktop UI review

# Proposition

I've made a couple of mockups of the improvements I would see. Below is a summary.

Menu bar:

- hide or reveal the bar using the Alt key

Text editor:

- cohesive button placements
- clearer button states
- refined editor switcher
- stronger visual differenciation between RTE and MD editor
- refined spellchecker icons and behavior
