Created a new version of Joplin that keeps local md files

If you experienced a strange behavior with the Android app at launch (on Android 10 and above), the newly uploaded apk fixed that.

Looks like clippers downloads them as many times as the number of pages they appear in and there doesn't seem to be any kind of deduplication.

Also, like mentioned here in JoplinFS post, I hope your work could also open the way to using Joplin's content with static site generators for publishing...

Have a nice we

FYI, a lot of work was already done in this area. Local md files are QoL but not a requirement there

I worked out a feature of doing instant sync. It works for devices in the same network. When you save a note on a device, it will be sync'ed with all other devices instantly. If you edit notes on a device offline, then they are sync'ed as soon as the device comes online. Currently this works among a desktop and multiple phones (I tested with Linux and Android). I've yet worked out for it to work only among phones. The apps will be uploaded soon.

As per brief discussion with Laurent, I think it's better I do a re-branding now. This is not for the purpose to compete with Joplin, just so that I can do some free developments. I will keep the project compatible with Joplin in many aspects. And at some future point of time, if we would like to merge, then I'd be happy to do so.

I really wish it remained a plugin (if not a core feature), but will follow your work closely... :eyes:

It's not meant for a plugin. But thanks for your interests.

Thanks for the update. As discussed please do a rebranding of your app and remove all links to Joplin since we can't provide support for it.

In the same way you'll need to create your own discussion board for it since it's now a separate unrelated app. I will now close this thread and wish you the best of luck with your fork.
