Was also looking for chess plugin for joplin and found this thread. I have tested vscode with joplin plugin. It is not really something I was looking for. The plugin can only chess, nothing else. I doesn't render the Joplin written notes properly. Joplin do not render the chess syntax of vscode plugin. So it is pointless to use vscode instead of Joplin.

I have also tried Loqseq, where the plugin similar to vscode chess viewer is available, Logseq is lacking of proper sync functionality and the logic behind how the notes are organized there is not really clear to me.

It would be great for me too, if the plugin like vscode chess viewer could be added to Joplin.
