Checkbox next to search bar to limit search to current folder

I commonly need to limit search to only the highlighted folder. I find it cumbersome to type each time
notebook:<name> <search term>. I would be really neat to have a checkbox next to the search box to limit search to current folder.

Is it possible to implement this feature via CSS or plugin or perhaps as a new feature in the Joplin?

I am the legacy Evernote refugee. So I am very frustrated with modern Evernote and Joplin UX.If you have a search bar ABOVE note list it should filter that note list. Please correct me if I am wrong.
