# Change the cloud login password, Sync on Windows failed, How to fix?

### Joplin version

2.13.13

### Sync target

Joplin Cloud

### What issue do you have?

I have changed the password used to log in Joplin Cloud. Now Joplin sync on Windows stopped working.

Question:  
How to change the sync password on Joplin on Windows. Tried but not found it on the menu items.

Error message:  
Error: Invalid username or password

If you haven't already, be sure to change the password in settings. To do this:

1. [Open settings](https://joplinapp.org/help/apps/config_screen)

4. Click "Apply"
