# Cannot see \\frac \\overline in preview

Do not know why \frac or \overline cannot display in preview?

Hi @victorgu

you could try with `$\frac{a}{c}$`

It works for me

Hi @victorgu it's a known issue with the tool that Joplin uses to display math. You can see more details on the official report.
