# Cannot get to version 3.0

### What issue do you have?

Trying to upgrade to version 3.0.0+ -- download the DMG file -- double-click on it -- close Joplin and copy the new Joplin.app file to the Applications folder. Restart Joplin, and it tells us we are still on version 2.14.22! Tried this a total of 4 times, same result.
