# Attachment, delete

3.1.24

### What issue do you have?

I added some attachments to a note and then deleted the attachments. But I wanted to completely delete the attachments so I used the Note attachments tool. The attachments are still present in the .config/joplin-desktop/resources folder. I'm aware of the Note History settings. Do I have to change these to get rid of the attachments?
