First of all, a big thak you for a very useful app.

I was going to update my joplin for android from 3.1.6 to 3.2.2, but saw that the size of the app has more than doubled (from under 100MiB to over 200 MiB).

Why is that?

It's dependencies update. Here's relevant explanation and the work to shrink the size down - Desktop: Fixes #11405: Reduce application size by removing unnecessary Rust files by pedr · Pull Request #11412 · laurent22/joplin · GitHub
