Hello, I am just starting to evaluate Joplin as a move from Evernote. I am running Pre-Release 2.14 on Desktop and Android.
The documentation got a bit ahead on the main site saying that OCR was available, which has been the feature I needed to finally get off Evernote.
As the docs state, OCR wont happen on Android, which is fine. But, the resulting Indexed data should be available to search. So far I can place a picture in the Desktop app, and it ran the OCR and I can search for text that only appears in the picture. But, even after a sync and side load of 2.14.8 on my Pixel 6/Android 14, searching for that text does not return anything.
Any idea when the search will become available?
