What issue do you have?
Hi there,
When I hit the AltGr key in conjunction with a letter to form a special character, it activates the menu options.
For example, let's say I'm writing ohn Frahnsay; I hold AltGr and then hit "e" to make an "é" character, it does input "é" but then I have to click the focus away from the menu that is now awaiting a keyboard shortcut press and back to the editor to be able to resume typing. Note that this concerns both the markdown and rich text editor as there wasn't an option to report both in the form.
Oddly enough, if I keep typing AltGr characters in sequence the focus only shifts when I hit the first non-AltGr character after the sequence. So the good news is that I can type « le mouton fait bêêêêêêêêê » without stress but end up being more limited with non-sheep protagonists.
AltGr invoking menu shortcuts is of course a familiar feature of desktop apps, but if I do the same thing while I'm typing this post in Firefox it inputs AltGr characters without turning the focus away. If I hit AltGr on its own, the menu pops up and I can then select menu options with keypresses.
One odd fix I found is to put Joplin in full screen, in which case I can type normally, but this is somewhat irritating.
Another solution would be to switch to Bépo layout but... yeah...
Cheers
